Pleasant Smell

PLEASANT SMELL: Lives of women in urban ghettos of Harare is an ongoing investigation for my work – looking at the way women survive and maintain their children families despite the way they earn a living. While they are judged by society, they are also the backbone of the community and keepers of tradition. In my work I portray these facets of their lives – the pain, the beauty and turmoil.
